She won a silver medal in the heptathlon in the Central American and Caribbean Games and a bronze medal in the CARIFTA Games and also competed at the Commonwealth Games two times. She was compelled to cease her athletic training after sustaining a knee injury. She qualified as a barrister in 2018 after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Birmingham.
