  • She is the first black woman to be crowned Miss Universe Great Britain since the pageant’s beginning in 1952.
  • Ann competed for Miss Universe Great Britain 2018 in Newport, Wales, against 40 other women from Northern Ireland, England, Wales, Scotland, and British overseas territories.
  • She is also an athlete. She won a silver medal in the heptathlon in the Central American and Caribbean Games and a bronze medal in the CARIFTA Games and also competed at the Commonwealth Games two times.
