Latest News about Luis Fernando Díaz Marulanda
Luis Díaz was granted a break from Colombia's upcoming international fixtures against Mexico, Paraguay and Peru, following talks with national team coach Néstor Lorenzo, who had raised concern about the player's fatigue. The winger stayed in Munich as he works to regain the form that made him one of the Bundesliga's most productive attackers in his first season with Bayern, when he struggled to score early in the 2026/27 campaign.
Luis Díaz completed his high-profile transfer from Liverpool FC to Bayern Munich in July 2025, joining the German club for a fee of approximately 69 million pounds. The Colombian winger, who scored 17 goals in Liverpool's 2024-25 Premier League title-winning campaign, is expected to strengthen Bayern's attacking options for the 2025-26 season.
