Hans Raj Hans' wife, Resham Kaur Hans, passed away on 2nd April 2025 at Tagore Hospital in Jalandhar due to a heart attack after a prolonged illness. She was 62 years old and had been hospitalized for five days before her death. The final rites were performed in their native village of Shafipur.
