1. Pramod Muthalik is the leader of the Rashtriya Hindu Sena, the main group behind the Sri Ram Sena.
2. In the past, Muthalik was a member of the Bajrang Dal before joining the RSS in 1975.
3. After being expelled from the Bajrang Dal in 2005, Muthalik established the Karnataka branch of the Shiv Sena.
4. Muthalik left the Shiv Sena due to the Belgaum border issue and then established the Sri Ram Sena.
5. Due to his controversial actions, the Karnataka BJP-led government prohibited him from entering Mangalore, leading him to campaign against the party in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections.
