1. Karman Thandi was born and raised in New Delhi.
2. She is the sixth Indian female tennis player to enter the top 200 of the WTA rankings, after Nirupama Sanjeev, Sania Mirza, Shikha Uberoi, Sunitha Rao and Ankita Raina.
3. At the age of 8, Karman started practicing Tennis.
4. During her early training years, she practiced at Chandigarh under the coach Aditya Sachdeva.
