Wilson Isidor

Isidor scored twice for Haiti in a 4-1 win over the Dominican Republic during the international break. He was forced off with an apparent injury in the 72nd minute, but he was later reported to be fully fit.

Isidor finished third in the Hyundai Goal of the Tournament voting at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, a recognition of his strike for Haiti. He spoke to FIFA about the goal, Haiti's hopes for the 2030 cycle, and his return to Sunderland for the 2026/27 campaign.

Wilson Isidor signed a new contract with Sunderland that keeps him at the club until 2030. The extension was announced by the club after his earlier permanent move from Zenit St Petersburg had already tied him to Sunderland until 2028.

Isidor was named in Haiti's 26-player squad for the 2026 World Cup. His inclusion confirmed his international commitment to Haiti ahead of the tournament, where he was selected as one of the team's forwards.

Isidor publicly confirmed his decision to join Haiti's national team setup. The announcement followed reports that he had accepted an invitation from Haiti and was being considered for upcoming international matches.
