Latest News about Scott McTominay
Scott McTominay returned to action for Napoli as a substitute in a 3-0 Serie A win over Frosinone, roughly a month after undergoing a heart procedure in Manchester. He had been sidelined after a mild, benign arrhythmia was diagnosed following his last appearance, a league defeat to Como on 30/08/2026. Napoli manager Massimiliano Allegri said the midfielder was available for a limited cameo at that stage.
Scott McTominay helped Napoli clinch the Serie A title by scoring the opening goal in a 2-0 win over Cagliari on the final day of the season. The victory secured Napoli their fourth league championship, and McTominay was also named Serie A Player of the Season after a standout debut campaign in Italy.
