Ko Ni, often known as U Ko Ni, was a Burmese lawyer, constitutional law expert, and advocate for democratic reforms and interfaith dialogue in Myanmar.
He was assassinated on 29 January 2017 at Yangon International Airport in Yangon, Myanmar, after returning from Jakarta, Indonesia.

Career

Qualified as a Higher Grade Pleader and became a member of the Yangon Bar Association in 1978.
Worked as a teacher at the Yangon University of Distance Education.
Established his own chambers focusing on civil law before 1988.
Founded the Laurel Law Firm in 1995 with other advocates and served as chairman.
