Rahul Arunoday Banerjee died in an accidental drowning during the shoot of the Bengali television show Bhole Baba Par Karega at Talsari Beach in Odisha. Multiple reports said he went into the water during filming and was pulled out before being taken to a hospital in Digha, where he was declared dead on arrival. Subsequent postmortem reporting said sand and saline water were found in his lungs, confirming drowning as the cause of death.
