Tanishk Bagchi

Composer Amaal Mallik publicly levelled serious allegations against Tanishk Bagchi in a series of social media posts. The exchange extended a longstanding public dispute between the two composers that had previously centred on remixes and plagiarism claims.

Bagchi criticised on social media the royalty he received for the title track of the 2025 film Saiyaara, calling the roughly ₹8 lakh amount inadequate given the song's streaming performance. Yash Raj Films responded that all contractual payments had been fulfilled and that royalties were split equally among the three composers, and Bagchi's post was later removed.

Tanishk Bagchi got engaged to fashion, beauty and lifestyle content creator Payal Dangodra in an intimate ring-exchange ceremony. The private event took place in Mumbai at the residence of producer Mahaveer Jain, attended by close friends and family.

Tanishk Bagchi discussed the scale of his success and the financial realities of Bollywood music, saying the attention brought by his 2025 work had not translated into equivalent royalties. His remarks highlighted ongoing concerns about compensation in the Indian music industry.

Bagchi released 'Shohag', a collaboration with Ivorian singer KikiMoteleba announced by Qinetic Music. The track marked his return to the Bangladeshi music industry, where he first launched his career with a debut album in 2007.

Tanishk Bagchi shared that he was stepping away from social media to focus fully on music and peace of mind. The update indicated a deliberate personal and professional reset rather than a retirement from public life.

Tanishk Bagchi again said he was done with remixes and had rejected several remix offers in 2024 and 2025. The statement reinforced his move toward original music and away from the remix-driven work that first made him widely popular.

Tanishk Bagchi appeared at his Collage Tanishk Bagchi Tour 2025 in Hyderabad and spoke about upcoming film music projects. He also discussed recent work on Bhool Chuk Maaf and other films, indicating an active year of composing for Hindi cinema.

Tanishk Bagchi told an interview he was not doing recreations anymore and described Sky Force as his first full solo album. He said the project marked a shift toward original music after being widely known for recreations and remixes.

Tanishk Bagchi said he no longer wants to do remixes and wants to focus on original compositions. The comments came as he discussed a new phase in his career centered on the Sky Force album, which was set to release with the film on 24 January 2025.
