Seven of Mohanlal's much-anticipated films are set to release in 2026, including the highly awaited 'Drishyam 3', which has wrapped up shooting with a release date yet to be announced. The Hindi version of 'Drishyam 3', starring Ajay Devgn, is scheduled for release on 2 October 2026, while his film 'Patriot' is slated for a summer 2026 release.

He is also set to reprise his cameo role as Matthew in 'Jailer 2', the sequel to Rajinikanth's 2023 hit, and will feature in a cameo in Priyadarshan's Hindi film 'Haiwan', a remake of his Malayalam film 'Oppam'.
