Karan Brar is an American actor of Indian-American ethnicity, best known for portraying Chirag Gupta in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film franchise and Ravi Ross on the Disney Channel series Jessie and its spin-off Bunk'd.
In November 2023, he published a personal essay in Teen Vogue where he opened up about his struggles with PTSD and major depressive disorder, and publicly came out as bisexual, becoming a voice for mental health and LGBTQ+ advocacy in the entertainment industry.
