Frances Louise McDormand (born Cynthia Ann Smith) is an American actress and film producer.
She is one of the few performers to achieve the Triple Crown of Acting with four Academy Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and a Tony Award.
She has also received three British Academy Film Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and numerous other accolades.
