The Clippers disclosed at their media day that Brandon Ingram had surgery in May 2026 on a right heel injury, which also repaired a previously undisclosed partially torn Achilles tendon. Interim president of basketball operations Trent Redden said the recovery is projected to be about six months shorter than for a fully torn Achilles. Ingram was expected to miss the start of the 2026-27 season with no set return date.
