Latest News about Phoebe Waller-Bridge
04/11/2026
Phoebe Waller-Bridge bought a London flat and donated its use rent-free to emerging playwrights from disadvantaged backgrounds through the new Writers' Block initiative. The scheme, run with Omnibus Theatre, addresses the high cost of London accommodation for writers who need to be in the capital for rehearsals and meetings. Other backers include Jack Thorne, Sally Wainwright and James Graham, and the resident pays only bills.
