Latest News about Canelo Álvarez
Canelo Álvarez confirmed he will go ahead with his scheduled bout in Riyadh despite attacks on the Saudi capital's airport and regional security concerns. Promoter Turki Alalshikh said Álvarez had assured him he would fight there regardless of the situation.
Álvarez's comeback fight against WBC super middleweight champion Christian Mbilli was rescheduled for 31/10/2026 in Riyadh after an earlier September 12 date was postponed. Álvarez said family matters had delayed his training camp, and the bout will air on DAZN pay-per-view.
Canelo Álvarez launched Canelo Media and entered a global production partnership with Box to Box Films. The deal is designed to develop documentaries, scripted and unscripted series, short-form projects, and live-event specials across sports and entertainment.
