| 11. After promotion to brigadier, he commanded the 120 Infantry Brigade along the Line of Control (LOC). |
| 12. He was posted to Dimapur as Brigadier General Staff (BGS) of the 3 Corps. |
| 13. After becoming a major general, he commanded an Infantry Division in Jammu and Kashmir. |
| 14. He later served as Additional Director General of Military Intelligence (ADGMI) in New Delhi. |
| 15. On 14 October 2020, he became a lieutenant general and served as GOC of the White Knight Corps. |
| 16. Suchindra participated in a motorcycle expedition from Kargil to Karakoram Pass in 2020. |
| 17. He became the Colonel of the Regiment of the Assam Regiment and the Arunachal Scouts on 1 March 2021. |
| 18. From 28 October 2021 to 1 July 2022, he served as DGMI in New Delhi. |
| 19. On 1 July 2022, he became the Deputy Chief of the Army Staff (Strategy). |
| 20. Suchindra assumed the position of the 45th Vice Chief of Army Staff (VCOAS) on 1 March 2023. |

| 22. Upendra Dwivedi took over his position as the Vice Chief of Army Staff after his retirement in February 2024. |
