The case relates to financing of the company's oil and gas assets in Mozambique, where loans from an SBI-led consortium and other banks were allegedly diverted by Videocon Group entities under Dhoot's control. The accounts turned into non-performing assets in 2018, with banks filing claims of over ₹61,773 crore.
