Soori's seventh lead film, tentatively titled Soori 7, was launched with a pooja ceremony in Chennai produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Directed by Ravikumar, the project stars Rajisha Vijayan as the female lead and is being made in Tamil and Telugu. Shooting has reportedly begun, with Sivakarthikeyan and Vetri Maaran attending the launch.
