Latest News about Santy Sharma
Santy Sharma continued to speak publicly about reservation policy and launched an awareness campaign in Mumbai. Social media posts claimed he had received death threats over his remarks, but mainstream reports had not independently confirmed the threats or their source.
Santy Sharma said in an Instagram statement that YouTube had permanently deleted his channel, which he had run for about eleven years and used to release his independent music. He linked the removal to the backlash over his comments on the Cockroach Janta Party, though YouTube has not publicly confirmed any reason for the deletion.
Santy Sharma publicly criticised the Cockroach Janta Party, calling its popularity internet drama and questioning the background of its founder. His remarks drew wide online reaction and follow-up coverage of his role as a Ratlam-based rapper.
Santy Sharma made his Bollywood debut with a rap performance in the film Housefull 5, whose soundtrack released worldwide on 6 June 2025. The track marked his first major appearance in a mainstream Hindi film.
