Pukhraj Bhalla's father, veteran Punjabi actor and comedian Jaswinder Bhalla, passed away at age 65 on 22 August 2025 at Fortis Hospital in Mohali after suffering a brain stroke. Pukhraj lit the funeral pyre during his father's cremation near Mohali, and numerous celebrities from the Punjabi film industry, including Gippy Grewal and Neeru Bajwa, attended to pay their respects.
