K. C. Venugopal (Kozhummal Chattadi Venugopal) is a senior Indian National Congress politician from Kerala with a career spanning student activism, state-level politics, and national governance. He entered politics through the Kerala Students Union (KSU) and rose to prominence as a three-term Member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly before transitioning to national politics. He has served as Minister of State for Power and Civil Aviation in the UPA Government, and held key organizational roles in the Indian National Congress including General Secretary of AICC.
