James Neesham rejected India's T20I tour to stay in Bangladesh for the BPL 2025-26 season with Rajshahi Warriors. He confirmed he will consider his future in international cricket after the T20 World Cup 2026 and will join the New Zealand team in India after his BPL commitments on either the 22nd or 24th of January.
