| Political Journey | - During his early career, he actively embraced and advocated for the principles and values of Communism.
- He later served as the Pradhan (chief) of the Radhapur Village Panchayat.
- After witnessing the corruption and misconduct of Communist politicians, he made the decision to switch his political allegiance to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and formally joined the BJP on 25 February 2013.
- In the 2013 Tripura Assembly Elections, he contested from the Jubarajnagar constituency; however, he did not emerge victorious in the elections.
- In the 2018 Tripura Assembly Elections, he contested from the Bagbassa constituency and achieved a victory.
- In the 2023 Tripura Assembly Elections, he contested once again from the Bagbassa constituency and emerged victorious.
- In April 2024, he was issued a show cause notice by the Election Commission of India for breaching guidelines during the Lok Sabha elections in the Bagbassa constituency after entering a polling booth and misbehaving towards a Booth Level Officer.
- Following the incident, he tendered an unconditional apology to the Election Commission of India and expressed regret for his actions.
