| 6. In September 2017, he announced his resignation from his parliamentary position citing dissatisfaction over his inability to do much for the welfare of people in his Anantapur constituency. |
| 7. In June 2017, IndiGo airline banned him from its flights for abusive behaviour at Visakhapatnam airport after being denied a boarding pass for arriving late. He was subsequently added to the no-fly lists of Air India, SpiceJet, and Jet Airways. |
