Latest News about Golshifteh Farahani
A 2026 book and related media coverage reignited rumors about an alleged relationship between Emmanuel Macron and Golshifteh Farahani. The reports were presented as speculation and not as a verified fact, and Farahani was identified in the coverage as an Iranian actress living in exile.
Reports in 2025 said Farahani had finished filming Bells of Kabul with Afghan director Chabname Zariab after her work on Alpha. Coverage also noted her return to screen work in Invasion season 3 and mentioned Extraction 3 as a possible project, though it was not confirmed.
Golshifteh Farahani was announced to receive the Excellence Award Davide Campari at the Locarno Film Festival in 2025. The recognition was tied to her festival presence with the film Alpha, directed by Julia Ducournau.
