Career

Joined Mahatma Gandhiโ€™s Non-Cooperation Movement in 1921 at the age of 15.
Participated in the Kakori Train Robbery in 1925.
Assassinated British officer John P. Saunders in Lahore in 1928 to avenge Lala Lajpat Rai's death.
Reorganized the Hindustan Republican Association into the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA) on 9 September 1928.
