| The first female officer in the Indian military to receive a Sena Medal (SM) for gallantry in 1995. She completed her MBBS in 1989 and was promptly commissioned into the Indian Army. Recognized with the Sena Medal (SM) for her brave actions in Anantnag, Kashmir. She was promoted to the position of senior resident doctor at Holy Family Hospital in 2000. |
