1. On 26 November 2008, Anjali Kulthe was working the night shift in the antenatal care unit of Cama and Albless Hospital for Women and Children in Mumbai, India.
2. Her duty started at 8:00 PM, and she was taking care of the 20 women who were in the final stages of pregnancy.
3. She managed to close and lock the heavy double doors of her ward just before the terrorists reached that floor.
4. Kulthe shifted all 20 pregnant women and their family members into a small dark pantry and told them to silence their mobile phones.
5. During this period, she helped a woman in labor deliver a healthy baby girl using the dim light from a single television tube light.
6. She became an important eyewitness during the official 26/11 terror attack court proceedings, pointing out the captured terrorist Ajmal Kasab.
7. In December 2022, Kulthe delivered a speech at the United Nations Security Council about her personal experience during the attacks.
8. In 2026, she was portrayed by Indian actress Kangana Ranaut in the Hindi biographical drama film 'Bharat Bhagya Vidhata'.
