Drew McIntyre lost the Undisputed WWE Championship on SmackDown after Jacob Fatu interfered in his defense against Cody Rhodes. The defeat ended McIntyre's third reign, which had begun on 9 January 2026 after he defeated Rhodes in a Three Stages of Hell match. The title change followed a run in which McIntyre also retained the championship at Royal Rumble before being cost the belt in the rematch.
