He previously held the position of State President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Rajasthan.
Joshi began his political career with the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) before joining the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
He also served as the District President of the Wrestling Association in Chittorgarh.
In 2020, Joshi, a Philomath, took the LLB first-year exam.
On 27 March 2023, he was appointed as the State President of BJP in Rajasthan.
