Latest News about Thomas Pannone
Milwaukee Brewers left-hander Thomas Pannone elected free agency, ending his second stint with the organization. He spent most of the 2026 season at Triple-A Nashville and made only one major league appearance that year. His departure leaves him free to pursue a new team ahead of the 2027 season.
Pitching for the Nashville Sounds against the Durham Bulls, Pannone threw a perfect game in a 3-0 victory. It was the fifth nine-inning perfect game in International League history and the first perfect game in the minors since 2017.
The Brewers selected Pannone's contract from Triple-A and started him against the San Francisco Giants. He allowed three runs over three innings and took the loss in his first MLB appearance since 2023. He was designated for assignment two days later.
