Introduced to boxing by her father Mohammad Jameel Ahmed on the recommendation of coach Omkar Yadav at LB Stadium Hyderabad.
Trained under Dronacharya awardee IV Rao at Sports Authority of India in Vishakhapatnam from 2009.
Declared 'golden best boxer' at the Erode Nationals in 2010.
Won gold at the 2011 AIBA Women’s Youth & Junior World Boxing Championships in Antalya, Turkey.
Won gold at the 2014 Nations Cup International Boxing Tournament in Novi Sad, Serbia.
Won bronze at the 2nd India Open International Boxing Tournament in Guwahati in 2019.
Won gold in the 52kg category at the 2022 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in Istanbul, Turkey.
Won gold in the 50kg category at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Won gold in the 50kg category at the 2023 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in New Delhi.
