1. Wahab received coaching from Aaqib Javed to transform from a medium fast bowler to a genuine fast bowler.
2. At just 16 years old, he made his first-class debut for Lahore Whites against Peshawar in 2002.
3. In 2010, during his Test debut against England at The Oval, he took 5 wickets for 63 runs.
4. He achieved a hat-trick in a county match by dismissing Chris Taylor, Ed Young, and Richard Coughtrie.
