Trivendra Singh has been a member of RSS since 1979, indicating strong Sangh roots.
He played a crucial role in reducing the Education fee from INR 1.5 Lakhs to INR 25,000 at "VAN TRUST MEDICAL COLLEGE – HALDWANI" through a PIL leading to 70% reservation for the state's original domicile.
Rawat organized 'Krishak Mahotsav' twice a year at every Nyay Panchayat level, involving 18 Departments to aid Uttarakhand farmers.
He founded Apno Bazar to enable farmers to directly sell their produce.
As the party's in-charge in Jharkhand, he significantly contributed to its success in the 2014 assembly elections.
He was appointed to Namami Gange, the national mission to clean the Ganga river, in 2014.
