1. Sushma Seth is the elder sister of well-known Manipuri dancer Charu Sija Mathur.
2. She is a co-founder of the Delhi-based theater group 'Yatrik' and has directed numerous plays.
3. Sushma also acted in the iconic Punjabi film 'Chann Pardesi' from 1980.
4. For the past decade, Sushma has been involved with the NGO 'Arpana,' directing plays and dance dramas.
5. One of Sushma's plays, 'Sitaron Ke Paas,' is based on astronaut Kalpana Chawla's life. Kalpana Chawla perished in the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster on February 1, 2003.
6. Sushma Seth unveiled her book at the Sri Ram Centre on August 13, 2010.
7. Despite acting in approximately 100 films and television plays, she is most remembered for her role as the grandmother in Hum Log and Kal Ho Naa Ho.
