Sauce Gardner

Gardner said he wants to remain with the Colts despite the team's rebuilding situation. He is under contract through 2030 on the extension he signed with the Jets in July 2025, so his trade value remains significant.

Sauce Gardner was still managing a calf injury that had sidelined him since the Colts' Week 6 loss to the Titans. He was a limited participant in Indianapolis practice on Wednesday, and the team indicated he may have made progress in his recovery. He had to log a full practice later in the week to avoid an injury designation for the weekend.

Sauce Gardner was traded from the New York Jets to the Indianapolis Colts in a blockbuster deal that sent wide receiver Adonai Mitchell and two first-round picks to New York. The move ended his Jets tenure after he had signed a major extension and immediately made him one of the Colts' marquee defensive additions.

Sauce Gardner signed a four-year extension with the New York Jets worth about $120.4 million. The deal kept him under contract through 2030 before he was later traded to Indianapolis.
