S. K. Bhagavan was a veteran Indian film director, producer, and actor who predominantly worked in the Kannada film industry.
He was one of the last remaining links to Kannada cinema's golden age, an era where superstar Dr Rajkumar reigned.
He was known for making the first-ever James Bond-style film in Indian cinema, Jedara Bale (1968), starring Dr Rajkumar.
Together with his work partner B. Dorai Raj, collectively referred to as Dorai-Bhagavan, he directed 33 films together, most of which were box office successes.
Full name: Srinivas Krishna Iyengar Bhagavan.
