| Political Journey | - In 2011, she won the Haryana assembly byelection from the Adampur constituency on a ticket of the Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC). The seat was left empty by her spouse, Kuldeep Bishnoi, who resigned as an MLA and became a Member of Parliament.
