Oliver Daemen is a Dutch space tourist and licensed pilot who made history on 20 July 2021 as the youngest person to travel to space at age 18. He flew aboard Blue Origin's New Shepard NS-16 spacecraft as the company's first paying customer, completing a sub-orbital flight of approximately 10 minutes duration that reached an apogee of 107 km (66 miles).

BackgroundOliver Daemen is a Dutch physics student who became the youngest person ever to fly to space on 20 July 2021 aboard Blue Origin's New Shepard NS-16 spacecraft. He was the fourth crew member and the first paying customer for Blue Origin's human spaceflight program.
