Nalin Kumar Kateel is an Indian entrepreneur and member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
He has served as a parliamentarian representing the Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka three times.
In 1984, Kateel started as a pracharak in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Karnataka and later became an organizer for the RSS.
He was instrumental in setting up the Dharmajagarana Vedike during his time with the RSS.
In 1986, Kateel left the RSS and founded a construction company in Dakshina Kannada.
He established the Kinnigoli Farmers Welfare Association to assist farmers and champion their rights.
Kateel is known for organizing various protests and campaigns focusing on environmental and social issues in his constituency.
He has served as the organizing president for the Brahmakalashothsava Samithi at the Sri Durga Parameswari Temple and Paavanje Southraamani Gavaamayana Yaaga Samithi.
