The Crown Prosecution Service announced that Lucy Letby would not face any further charges after reviewing additional evidence in connection with a wider investigation into baby deaths and collapses. Prosecutors said the evidence was not strong enough to proceed with nine additional attempted murder allegations and two murder allegations involving other infants. The announcement did not change her existing convictions and life sentences.
