Devi is a prominent Bhojpuri folk singer known for her powerful voice and emotive performances. She hails from Chhapra in Saran district, Bihar, and has carved a niche for herself in the Bhojpuri music and film industry.
Devi began her career with the release of her first Bhojpuri album Purwa Bayar in 2003, which marked the start of a successful journey in regional music. She later expanded her presence by contributing to Bollywood with the song Razia Gundo Mein Phas Gayi in the film Thank You (2011).
In addition to singing, Devi has worked as an actress and producer in Bhojpuri cinema, notably in the film Jalsaghar Ki Devi (2013). She is also recognized for founding the Devi Music Ashram in Rishikesh, which promotes music, dance, meditation, and yoga.
