Latest News about Delonte West
Delonte West is scheduled to face Michael Beasley, a former NBA forward who previously competed in combat sports, in a heavyweight boxing match at Adin Ross' Brand Risk 16 event in Miami on 16/10/2026. Reports say the bout comes as West continues his recovery from years of homelessness and substance-use struggles.
West said on a livestream that LeBron James and his family have stayed in touch and checked on him during difficult periods, including James regularly calling his mother. The comments came shortly after West said he was living a good life in West Palm Beach, Florida.
West was reported to have been arrested in December 2025 in Virginia after allegedly robbing a person of about $23, and he was released on a $1,000 recognizance bond. His attorney disputed part of the account, and West was due in court in March 2026.
