| Charanjit Singh Channi is an Indian politician and a member of the Indian National Congress. He served as the 16th Chief Minister of Punjab from 20 September 2021 to 11 March 2022, becoming the first Scheduled Caste (Dalit-Sikh) Chief Minister of the state. He is currently a Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) representing the Jalandhar constituency since 4 June 2024. |
