1. Ashwini Bhide was born in Sangli district in Western Maharashtra.
2. Her father worked in the State Bank of India, which involved transfers, and her mother was a homemaker.
3. She learned in Marathi medium schools and in a small village.
4. Bhide was encouraged to consider IAS as a career option by a relative who worked in the Mantralaya.
5. She was ranked high through SSC and completed her BA course in literature in Willingdon College in Sangli.
