On the 74th birth anniversary of Anand Dighe, a new Marathi biographical film titled 'Dharmaveer' was officially announced by director Pravin Tarde. The film, starring Mangesh Desai, aims to depict the life of the late Shiv Sena leader who was a key mentor to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Eknath Shinde himself visited Thane on this day to pay tribute to Dighe's legacy.
