Alperen Şengün is a Turkish professional basketball player who plays as a center/power forward for the Houston Rockets in the NBA.
He was born in Giresun, Turkey, and began playing basketball at a young age before developing through the Turkish youth system.
In 2025, he became the first Turkish player to be selected for two NBA All-Star games, following Mehmet Okur's 2007 selection.
He is the youngest NBA center to record 500 assists and the youngest Houston Rocket to reach 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, and 500 assists.
