  • Won the Goa, Daman and Diu Legislative Assembly elections from the Pale constituency on a ticket from the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) in 1963.

7. On 16 June 2020, he passed away due to age-related ailments at the Goa Medical College, and his final rites were held at the St. Inez Crematorium in Panaji.
