- Zaidi is well-known as the lead vocalist of Pakistani semiclassical band ‘Kaavish,’ which means struggle.
- At the 10th Lux Style Awards in 2011, his debut album ‘Gunkali’ received two nominations which included ‘Best Artist Award’ for Zaidi and ‘Best Producer Award’ for Rafi.
- His solo career is enclosed to music reality show, MTV Coke Studio where he has appeared as a featured artist in season 4 and as one of the house band members in season 7 and 8. He then appeared as one of the six music producers in the 9th season of the show.
- Kaavish achieved critical appraisal with their music videos and singles, earning the Rising Star award at The Musik Awards 2006 and a nomination at 3rd Jazz IM Awards.
